The little girl is so smitten with the Fairy-to-be that she takes her to her playroom and shows off the shimmering crystal star at the top of her Christmas tree and how it lights up when you press its button. The Fairy flies over to it and Tink presses the button, making the star light up. She then tells Tinkerbell if she's ever feeling really down or ill, she should just remember that those feelings will eventually go away too. "But if they don't?" asks Tink as they fly out of the house again. "You'll be a very big girl!" In the end, Tinkerbell has to admit that none of her birthdays seem to match up with the Fairy's. Tink tells her that this is because she's a special little girl who doesn't have a wish yet. The Fairy says that's not true – it's because Tink would make a perfect fairy, but if she doesn't use her wings soon, she won't have them for ever! She tells Tink to fly as high as she can and tell everyone about how much fun it is to fly. Then she gives Tink some magic wings and thanks Tink for showing such an interest in fairies. The film was the second of the "Tinkerbell" series, preceded by "Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue" (2004) and followed by "" (2011). It was released on DVD for the first time on 2 May 2012.
